There are a wide variety of succulents and unique shapes, which can show a strong exotic atmosphere in garden landscaping and create a beautiful garden artistic effect. In terms of garden application, many studies have discussed the interior decoration and application of cacti and succulents, providing suitable maintenance management methods and landscaping methods for public indoor greening, and actively exploring different landscaping methods. There are a few things to keep in mind when growing succulents.
1. Temperature
There are many succulent varieties, but most succulent varieties prefer a warm environment, so the maintenance temperature should be within a suitable range, preferably between 15 and 28 °C, and the minimum temperature should not be lower than 5 °C during winter, and plants are susceptible to freezing damage. , the summer temperature should be controlled below 35 ℃.
2. Watering
When watering succulents, you can follow the principle of seeing dryness and wetness, and prefer dryness rather than wetness, and wait until the soil is dry before watering. When the temperature is low, it is necessary to control the watering. If the plant has entered a dormant state, stop watering. Watering can be supplemented by dipping pots or spray methods, but do not allow water to accumulate inside the leaves, which may easily cause the leaves to rot.
3. Lighting
The growth of succulents requires photosynthesis. During the maintenance period, it should be placed in the sun to receive sufficient light. However, in the late spring, summer and early autumn, it should be shaded according to the intensity of the sun. Usually, it can be raised outdoors, receiving direct light. When the sun is strong, it should be transferred to a place with astigmatism. Avoid raising it in a location with poor light. If the light is insufficient for a long time, the leaves will grow thin and even turn yellow.
4. Ventilation
During the cultivation of succulents, it is necessary to ensure good ventilation. If the ventilation of the maintenance environment is not good, the roots will easily rot after watering. If the humidity is high, the leaves will easily rot and water. Especially in summer, ventilation should be enhanced. It can also be properly exposed.
