Sights and Attractions

The Zrmanja River is considered one of the most beautiful rivers in Croatia, with its origin in southern Lika, flowing into the Novigrad Sea near Obrovac. Known for its beautiful canyons, the most notable is the one between Obrovac and the river’s mouth, featuring 200-meter-high cliffs rising above the water. This stunning area is protected as a natural geomorphological monument.

Jankovića buk, the final waterfall on Zrmanja, is accessible by boat and serves as a popular picnic and swimming destination. Here, visitors can see the remains of old mills, once essential to the local milling tradition.
